Noble Poker Review

Overall Score 5.75

Noble Poker is part of the IPoker Network and was recently acquired by Empire Poker.  Their software is adequate.  It's fast, intuitive and reminded me somewhat of Party Poker.  It's probably only me but the sound the program makes when you toss your chips onto the table while betting really got on my nerves.  It almost sounded more like someone stepping on a bag of potato chips rather than poker chips hitting the table.  After an hour or so of constant potato chip crunching noises I finally muted the sound and ran Itunes in the background.

Games wise Noble Poker has the standard Hold'em and Omaha games in limit, pot limit, and of course no limit.  Noble Poker also hosts heads up games, SNG's and multi-table tournaments.  The traffic at Noble Poker seems to be a bit on the low side, averaging about 1,000 players during peak times.  The competition was also a bit stiffer than I'd anticipated with flop percentages for full ring games appearing to average around 30%.  They do have micro limit tables starting at $.02/$.04 cents.  These tables were hugely loose with averages of up to 80% seeing the flop.  The loose games continued up to about the $.25/$.50 range.  If you're a beginning poker player, then Noble Poker's micro limit games might be a good place to start.

Noble Poker does have a very good deposit bonus.  They'll match your deposit for 100% up to $700.  They offer all the standard deposit options and then some.  That is of course because they want your money.  Cash out options are slimmer and include Neteller,  Moneybookers, InstaDebit, FirePay, EcoCard, bank draft and wire transfer.  I really think that all poker rooms should include cash-outs by check and the ability to cash-out instantly via Neteller.  Cashing out should always be as easy as depositing.  That's one of the reasons I really like Poker.com.  They're the only poker site I know of that offers instant cash-outs.

Your money is secure at Noble Poker as it's backed by Playtech, one of the largest casino software operators in the world.  As far as support, Noble Poker was recently acquired by Empire Poker which does not have the best record for customer service.  There have been complaints of unsatisfactory responses to emails as well as long wait times.  We'll have to wait and see if the support at Noble Poker improves or declines after its acquisition by Empire.

Overall I'd say that Noble Poker is a decent place to play.  It's a good spot for beginners to gain some experience playing at micro limit tables.  It's also a good place for bonus chasers who can take advantage of their generous 100% deposit bonus.  If you're just looking for a place to regularly grind out some cash playing poker online, then I'd look at Poker.com or Pokerroom.com.
