Online Poker Room Reviews FAQ
1. Which site has the highest pre flop % in online poker rooms? The site with the highest pre-flop percentage by far is Pacific Poker. Hands down it's got the fishiest players on the net. I've personally played at tables with pre-flop percentages being in the high 70's. Because you are limited to playing only one table at a time, the players get bored and start loosening their starting hand requirements just so they can get some action. Also, many of their casino customers from Casino On Net head over to Pacific in order to try out their luck at poker. This means that many of the lower limit tables are filled with recreational first time players. Another online poker room that as of this writing has a relatively high pre-flop % is Poker.com. When I last played, the low limit tables were absolutely packed with fish. One table I was at maintained a pre-flop percentage in the 70%-80% range. One nice thing about Poker.com is that you can multi-table, unlike at Pacific. We love Pacific but their software drives us nuts. 2. Which site has the best online poker room comps? Unfortunately, despite rumors that some sites are developing elaborate player comp systems, not a whole lot has materialized. Currently both Party Poker and Full Tilt Poker offer player comps in the form of bonus points. The best site for player comps is currently Full Tilt Poker. For every $1 in rake you contribute, you earn 1 VIP point. These can be spent in their store which actually offers quality merchandise. It has everything from poker books to clothing that is of a fairly high quality when compared to that offered by Party Poker. You can also use the points at Full Tilt to enter tournaments. The bonus points that Party Poker offers are virtually worthless as the the items you can trade for leave a lot to be desired. The last time I checked, your choices were in the realm of cheap looking hats, or cheap looking bags. You can at least use your bonus points to enter freerolls. 300 bonus points should gain you a seat in a $1500 freeroll with around 800-900 other players. Update: Party Poker has dramatically increased their player comps system. Their online bonus points store now carries everything from Ipods to mountain bikes. It's definitely worth checking out. 3. Which online poker rooms accept Western Union deposits? As of this writing Party Poker is the only online poker room that will accept deposits via Western Union. 4. Where can I find the best no deposit online poker rooms? Currently Dream Poker offers a $10 free bonus with no deposit required. The free $10 bonus is very easy to receive and with a little luck can be built up into a respectable bankroll. Dream Poker runs on Prima software which although it won't win any awards for graphical excellence, is fast and efficient. If you switch from playing at Pacific to a Prima site, it's almost refreshing as their software, especially when multi-tabling is some of the fastest in the business. 5. Which site has the best poker bonus that is easy to clear? The easiest bonuses to clear by far are those offered by Party Poker. They only require that you play a certain amount of raked hands up to 500 in order to clear their bonuses. We have a full list of updated current Party Poker bonus codes posted here. The bonus at Absolute Poker is a bit more time consuming to clear but is more generous than Party. They currently offer a 100% deposit bonus up to $750.
