Party Poker is where I head when I need to earn some extra cash.  Being the most popular poker room on the net, it receives the most traffic of all the sites.  Instead of the Party Poker review, this should be called the fish tank review.  Poker playing just doesn’t get much worse than this.  Party Poker hosts some of the loosest, craziest, maniac filled tables I've ever encountered.  Often I hear people complain about getting drawn out on at Party Poker.  But if you want to play with lots of unskilled players at your table calling your monster hands all the way to the river, then this is the place for you!  The players at Party Poker re-define the word fish.  If you are a reasonably skilled poker player, you will make money at this site.

Their software is fast and efficient.  It won't bog your system down so you can easily play four tables at a time, even on a slower system.  The graphics aren't anything special, but then again you're there to play cards.  Go play Half-Life 2 if you want pretty graphics.  Unfortunately table flop percentages are not shown, nor are hands per hour rate.  But this can be a good thing in that you won't suddenly have five sharks in queue waiting for the juicier tables.  If you find a nice table, it'll probably stay that way for quite awhile. 

The traffic Party Poker receives is massive.  On average there are more than 70,000 players online at any given time.  A steady stream of new poker players is always headed their way thanks to the huge amount of cash they put into advertising.  This steady influx of new players guarantees that there will always be loose tables available for you to exploit. 

Unfortunately their game variety isn't as good as it could be.  They currently don't offer heads-up matches, draw poker, or oddities like crazy pineapple. Also, 7-Card-Stud and Omaha don't have pot limit versions available.

Being the top name in online poker, security at their sight is top notch.  Your poker bankroll is as safe here as it is at your local bank.  Their support is very good.  They have 24/7 phone support.  The two times I've called, I waited under a minute!  Compare that to how long it takes to get your bank on the phone.

They accept deposits via credit card, NETeller, FirePay, Western Union, Citadel (US only), eChecks, bank draft, cashier's check, money order, and check.  Withdrawal options are NETeller, wire transfer, check, and eChecks.  I usually have them send me a check when I cash out.  It often takes less than a week to arrive.

Party Poker is the current leader in online poker.  It's a great poker room for beginning players because you'll find lots of other poker newbs there that you can play with, making it a less costly experience than it would be at some sites.  It's also a great site for advanced players because well, there are a lot of beginners there for you to take money from.  Either way you can't go wrong with Party Poker.
